James Chandler
Mr. Chandler has over 15 years experience in real estate asset management, development and construction. For 6 years, he managed over $8B in note repurchases, real estate acquisitions, and various debt and equity transactions for GE Capital. For several years he owned and managed a real estate consulting and land development company in the north Texas area.
Mr. Chandler is the Chief Financial Officer for PSI Funds. He has a BBA in Accounting from Baylor University and is presently an inactive CPA.
Eugene de Sosa
While studying Hospitality Management at Cornell University, Mr. de Sosa began his marketing and management career with The Residence Inns. The Residence was a hotel development and management company owned by Texas Industries (NYSE TXI). For 11 years, Mr. de Sosa worked for TXI in Dallas, Texas in various capacities, including the marketing and management of development parks, all-suite hotels and commercial office buildings. Following his tenure with TXI, for seven years, Mr. de Sosa was the Chief Executive Officer of CFF, Inc., the US division of Lux Foods, S.A. (Luxembourg). CFF is a regional specialty foods importer, distributor, wholesaler and retailer with offices in Los Angeles, New York City and Dallas.
Mr. de Sosa is the National Correspondent for PSI Funds. He is in charge of marketing and management of a national network of correspondent brokers, consultants and other sources involved in the death care industry.
Carol Schmid
Ms. Schmid has over 20 years experience in law, having worked in the field of mortgage and banking, corporate, bankruptcy, and personal injury law. For six of those 20 years, she practiced mortgage and banking law in Boulder, Colorado. Prior to practicing law, she served as a paralegal/legal secretary at several corporate firms. In addition, she has served as executive assistant to high-level corporate executives.
Ms. Schmid holds the position of in-house legal oversight at PSI Funds, where she has worked for PSI Funds and affiliated companies since January 2002. She has a BS in Business from Indiana University [Northwest Campus] and a JD from the University of Colorado School of Law.
Phin W. Stubbs, III
Mr. Stubbs is the Vice President of Asset Management at PSI Funds with primary responsibility for assembling, organizing, and reporting historical data on the entire loan pool. Additionally, he is responsible for tracking and obtaining due diligence materials for all current borrowers. Mr. Stubbs assists with asset management, both on-site and in the field, as needed.
Mr. Stubbs is a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a business degree in management. Before joining PSI full-time, he interned summers.
